Frequently asked safety questions

To help you prepare for a fun, stress-free celebration, we have outlined everything you need to know about setting up, weather precautions, and rules for play.

What surface and clearance do you require?

We require setup on grass surfaces only to ensure secure anchoring. All other surfaces are reviewed on a strict case-by-case basis. Please ensure there is at least 1.5m clearance around the entire perimeter of the castle.

How much overhead height clearance is needed?

Please check the setup area beforehand to confirm there is a minimum overhead height clearance of 3.5m, free from low-hanging tree branches, pergolas, or power lines.

What power access is required on the day?

Our electric blowers come with a 2m power cord. Please ensure there is clear, accessible power ready upon our delivery team's arrival.

How do you secure the bouncy castles?

Every castle is firmly secured using 380mm long, 16mm diameter steel ground pegs to keep the inflatable safe, stable, and rigid throughout your party.

What happens if it rains during the hire period?

If rain begins, immediately turn off the inflatable, unplug the blower unit, and move the electrical blower indoors. Once the rain has cleared, the castle can be reinflated and used again once the surface has dried off.

What are the maximum wind limits for safe use?

The inflatable must never be used in winds exceeding 25km/h or gusts exceeding 35km/h. We actively track weather conditions and will advise if high winds pose a safety issue.

How do we manage summer heat?

During hot sunny months, the PVC material can heat up quickly. An adult must touch and test the bounce surface before children enter to ensure it is not too hot for bare skin or socks.

What are the key supervision and golden rules?

Children must be actively supervised by an adult at all times. No shoes, food, or drinks are permitted on the castle. Kids must take turns to prevent overcrowding, and open fires or smoking are strictly prohibited near the inflatable.

Can we add water to the inflatable?

Do not add water or soap to inflatables unless the item is specifically advertised and designated for wet hire.
